Steve Lemanski, owner and managing editor (principal consultant) of Human Factor Communications is a seasoned business and technical writer, content strategist, and user experience professional with more than 20 years of industry experience. He has an extensive background in IT service management; product (software) development methodologies; information architecture and interaction design; and business development and marketing communications.
He draws upon that varied professional experience to help his clients identify shortfalls and failure points in their digital messaging and corporate communications—and transform their content into something that is far more informative, persuasive, and reader-appropriate than ever before.
Steve holds a master’s degree in English (Master of Technical Communication or MTC) from Utah State University, Logan; and he earned his undergraduate degree in Communication (BA, with a radio-television-film emphasis and a minor in Journalism) from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Recently, he began a secondary career as an adjunct college professor, teaching face-to-face and online courses in writing and communication.
